Microsoft’s LinkedIn named COO Daniel Shapero as its new CEO, replacing Ryan Roslansky effective immediately and appointing Mohak Shroff president of Platforms & Digital Work. The professional network serves over 1.3 billion members and generated 6.3% of Microsoft’s annual revenue in 2025.

Daniel Shapero, who joined LinkedIn in 2008 and rose to COO overseeing operations, is promoted to CEO, succeeding Ryan Roslansky immediately. At the same time, Mohak Shroff is named president of Platforms & Digital Work, tasked with advancing long-term technology strategy.
