Loop Industries Secures C$2.92M NRC Grant to Scale Infinite Loop Tech
LOOP•Loop Industries’ subsidiary Loop Canada Inc. will receive up to C$2.92 million in non-dilutive funding and advisory services from the National Research Council’s IRAP program. The multi-year grant supports scale-up, engineering, operational efficiency and commercial deployment of its Infinite Loop™ plastic recycling platform.

Loop Canada Inc. has been awarded up to C$2.92 million in non-dilutive funding and advisory support from the NRC’s Industrial Research Assistance Program. This backing under the Clean Technology initiative aims to offset development costs without equity dilution.

The funding will fund a multi-year program to scale and engineer the Infinite Loop™ chemical recycling platform for hard-to-recycle PET plastic and polyester waste. Key activities include pilot plant enhancements, process optimization and system validation for commercial deployment.
