M2i Global expands Regenerate Technology partnership to add global battery recycling, data intelligence
MTWO•M2i Global expanded its partnership with Regenerate Technology Global to cover global battery recycling and critical-minerals supply chain data intelligence. Regenerate cites 90% less waste, 85% lower emissions, 20% cost savings and more than 80% lower energy use compared with smelting-based recycling.
1. Expanded partnership
The expanded collaboration covers deployment of Regenerate’s hydrometallurgical recycling technology in customer plants worldwide, supported by select facilities under development, and adds data intelligence services aimed at improving critical-minerals supply chain resiliency and security. Regenerate says its process reduces waste by 90%, emissions by 85%, costs by 20% and energy use by more than 80% compared with smelting-based recycling; the company operates in Europe and is expanding in North America and Asia.
