1. US Officials Urge Mythos Deployment

US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell convened systemically important bank executives and urged them to deploy Anthropic’s Mythos AI model internally to detect vulnerabilities and bolster financial system defenses.

2. Bank Participation Under Project Glasswing

JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Bank of America and Morgan Stanley have gained access to Mythos, which Anthropic released to a limited set of firms under 'Project Glasswing', alongside companies such as Amazon and Apple.

3. Mythos Vulnerability Detection Capabilities

During internal tests, Mythos demonstrated both offensive and defensive cyber capabilities by identifying and potentially exploiting system flaws, including browser vulnerabilities that could allow data breaches between websites.
