Marriott opens first Series by Marriott hotel in South Korea with Anook Signature Seoul Guro launch

Marriott opened the 104-room Anook Signature Seoul Guro, its first Series by Marriott hotel in South Korea, and expects three more South Korean hotels under the brand by the end of 2026.

1. South Korea debut

The hotel is in Seoul’s southwestern business district near Guro Digital Complex and includes Korean dining, sauna facilities, a fitness center and small-group meeting space. The opening extends the brand’s Asia-Pacific rollout after its 2025 debut in India; Marriott says it expects to enter Japan in April 2026 and open three more South Korean hotels by the end of 2026, targeting Insadong, Guwol and Haeundae.
