MediaCo’s EstrellaTV has signed a multi-year agreement to televise and stream every home match of Tigres, Tigres Femenil, FC Juárez and FC Juárez Femenil during the Liga MX Torneo Clausura 2026 season. The deal covers distribution across EstrellaTV’s linear network, its FAST channel and the EstrellaTV app, ensuring comprehensive Spanish-language coverage for U.S. audiences. 2. MediaCo Posts Breakout Year-End Audio Audience Growth
In its year-end report, MediaCo reported double-digit gains across key audio metrics for Adults 25–54. New York City stations saw an 18.3% increase in Average Quarter Hour (AQH) and a 9.9% gain in share, driven by HOT 97’s weekday resurgence and stable performance at WBLS. Los Angeles delivered a 25.0% AQH lift and 38.2% increase in cumulative audience, led by Que Buena LA. Dallas stations KNOR and KBOC powered a 31.1% AQH increase and 15.0% share growth. 3. EstrellaTV to Launch Orlando Television Station
On March 24, 2026, EstrellaTV will launch WDYB-CD in Orlando, Florida, marking its first owned-and-operated station in one of the fastest-growing Hispanic markets. The new station replaces a 17-year affiliate partnership with Hearst Television’s WKCF 18.3 and is expected to reach over 1.2 million Hispanic households in the Orlando–Daytona Beach–Melbourne designated market area. This strategic expansion enhances MediaCo’s local advertising opportunities and strengthens its position in a market where Hispanic population growth has outpaced the national average by 4 percentage points over the past five years.
