Merck appointed Cressey & Company managing partner Paul J. Diaz to its board effective Nov. 1, 2026, increasing the board to 14 directors.

1. Board appointment

Diaz previously served as CEO of Myriad Genetics, leading genetic testing and precision medicine, and earlier ran Kindred Healthcare. He is set to stand for election at Merck’s May 2027 annual meeting.
