MINISO FY26 Q2 turns to loss of RMB 291.5 million; revenue rises 17% to RMB 5.81 billion

MINISO posted a loss of RMB 291.5 million in FY26 Q2 as revenue rose 17% to RMB 5.81 billion.

• MINISO posted 26H1 revenue of RMB 11.5 billion, up 22.4% year over year.
• Profit for the period rose 5.6% to RMB 956.6 million; diluted earnings per ADS increased 8.2% to RMB 3.16.
• Operating profit climbed 6.1% to RMB 1.64 billion; operating margin narrowed 2.2 percentage points to 14.3%.
• Net cash from operating activities jumped 45.5% to RMB 1.48 billion; cash position ended June 30 at RMB 7.39 billion.
• Total stores reached 8,674, up 769 year over year; 26H1 shareholder returns totaled RMB 1.31 billion via dividends and buybacks.
