Universal Technical Institute’s Concorde Career Colleges appoints Monica Jeffs as Campus President for its 45,000-sq-ft Houston facility, slated to open in 2027 with capacity for 700 healthcare students. This expansion represents the fourth Texas campus under UTI’s North Star growth strategy targeting annual new openings through 2029.
Universal Technical Institute’s healthcare division named Monica Jeffs as Campus President for Concorde’s new Houston location. Jeffs brings over 25 years of higher education leadership, including presidency roles at the College of Healthcare Professions in Austin.
The Houston campus will occupy 45,000 square feet at Westchase Commons, serving up to 700 students across nursing, dental, diagnostic, patient care and allied health programs. It is scheduled to open in 2027 pending regulatory approvals.
This opening is part of UTI’s Phase II North Star growth strategy, which aims to launch multiple campuses annually through 2029, diversify program offerings and optimize operations. The Houston facility marks the fourth Concorde campus in Texas under this multi-year plan.
Houston joins Dallas, Grand Prairie and San Antonio as Concorde locations, reinforcing UTI’s decades-long educational investment in Texas. The expansion is expected to strengthen local workforce partnerships and address regional healthcare skill shortages.
