MOTHER Labs Triples REMONY Deployment for JGSDF 8th Division with Charge-Free Bracelet
MRM•MOTHER Labs secured an additional order from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s 8th Division, tripling deployment of its REMONY remote health monitoring system. The charge-free MOTHER Bracelet collects five health metrics 24/7 without recharging, enabling real-time vital monitoring and heatstroke alerts in extended training environments.
1. Expanded JGSDF Order
The 8th Division of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force placed an additional order that triples the scale of REMONY remote health monitoring deployment compared to the initial implementation. The expansion reflects high evaluation of the system's 24/7 operation without charging under harsh training conditions.
2. Charge-Free MOTHER Bracelet Technology
The REMONY system pairs the recharge-free MOTHER Bracelet with a dedicated gateway to enable automatic data synchronization and centralized monitoring. The bracelet uses temperature-difference power generation to record heart rate, calories burned, body surface temperature, step count, and sleep continuously.
3. Strategic Implications
Tripling the JGSDF deployment could drive recurring hardware and software service revenues and strengthen MRM's presence in defense and industrial health monitoring markets. The scalable REMONY model may open opportunities across elder care, manufacturing, and logistics sectors.
