Navitas Debuts 10 kW DC-DC Platform with 98.5% Efficiency, 2.1 kW/in³ Density
Navitas unveiled a 10 kW DC-DC conversion platform delivering up to 98.5% peak efficiency and 2.1 kW/in³ power density in a 61×116×11 mm full-brick package for 800 V-to-50 V and ±400 V-to-50 V AI data center architectures. The three-level half-bridge design employs 650 V and 100 V GaNFast FETs at 1 MHz switching to support high-density, sustainable AI workloads.
1. Breakthrough Platform Features
Navitas’s new 10 kW DC-DC power platform offers a three-level half-bridge topology with synchronous rectification, achieving 98.5% peak efficiency and 98.1% full-load efficiency. The full-brick module (61×116×11 mm) delivers 2.1 kW/in³ power density and operates at a 1 MHz switching frequency using advanced 650 V and 100 V GaNFast FETs.
2. Target Applications and Benefits
The platform supports both 800 V-to-50 V and ±400 V-to-50 V architectures, enabling next-generation AI data center designs with higher power density and lower cooling requirements. Its integrated auxiliary power and control simplify system adoption and contribute to more sustainable, energy-efficient data center operations.
3. Market Adoption and Outlook
Navitas is collaborating with key data center operators to evaluate the 10 kW solution ahead of its commercial launch, with a public debut scheduled for the APEC conference in late March. Widespread adoption could drive new revenue streams as AI workloads demand ever greater power efficiency and density.
