Neogen collaborates with Hinalea Imaging to develop digital food safety inspection tools
NEOG•Neogen entered a strategic collaboration with Hinalea Imaging, taking an equity stake to develop digital imaging tools for food safety inspection. The companies plan to share development costs and commercialize hyperspectral imaging-based solutions.
1. Partnership plans
The collaboration will develop hyperspectral imaging-based tools intended to speed testing workflows, reduce manual inspection work and improve consistency in interpreting results. Neogen and Hinalea Imaging have worked together since 2025 and plan joint development with shared costs.
