NextPlat launched Orbital Satcom online storefronts on Mercado Libre in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia offering satellite-based voice, data, tracking and safety products from Globalstar, Iridium and Inmarsat. The expansion targets roughly 440 million South American consumers with additional e-commerce sites planned in Q2 2026.

1. Expansion Launch

NextPlat unveiled Orbital Satcom storefronts on Mercado Libre across five South American nations—Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Colombia—offering wireless and satellite-based voice, data, tracking and safety solutions operating on Globalstar, Iridium and Inmarsat networks. This launch marks the division’s first South American entry and leverages Mercado Libre’s platform to scale e-commerce sales of connectivity products.

2. Market Potential

South America’s population of approximately 440 million spans areas with limited terrestrial connectivity, creating strong demand for satellite-enabled communications. By entering these markets, NextPlat aims to tap into logistical, agricultural and off-grid sectors seeking reliable voice and IoT data services.

3. Future Expansion Plans

NextPlat plans to add additional storefronts in other South American markets during Q2 2026, reinforcing its strategic objective to grow the Orbital Satcom business. Management views this regional expansion as a foundation for long-term revenue growth and enhanced global footprint in consumer and enterprise connectivity solutions.
