NioCorp Launches Six-Hole Second Drilling Phase to Boost Elk Creek Resources

NBNB

NioCorp launched a second drilling phase in January 2026 at its Elk Creek niobium-scandium-titanium project in Nebraska, adding up to six holes to bolster resource confidence and update reserves and feasibility studies. First-phase drilling completed in August 2025 on schedule and within budget, advancing the project toward production readiness.

1. Second Drilling Phase Launched

In January 2026 NioCorp began a second phase of drilling at its Elk Creek project, targeting up to six additional holes to strengthen geological data, reduce design risk and refine mineral resource and reserve estimates for niobium, scandium and titanium.

2. Successful Completion of Phase One

The initial drilling program concluded in August 2025 on time and within the planned budget, confirming continuity of mineralization and laying the groundwork for more detailed feasibility study inputs.

3. Advancing Toward Production Readiness

These drilling campaigns are designed to de-risk mine design and support updates to the feasibility study, moving the Elk Creek project closer to production by improving confidence in resource models and reserve calculations.
