Norfolk Southern has engaged Jaguar Transport Holdings to manage local switching and run the Doraville transload terminal, aiming to streamline truck-to-rail connectivity and enhance first- and last-mile freight services in northeast Atlanta.

2. Strategic Growth Focus

The partnership is designed to drive freight growth by increasing capacity and expanding local service in the busy Atlanta metropolitan corridor, targeting new customer volumes and shipment frequency.

3. Union Pacific Alignment

Jaguar already connects with Union Pacific, and this collaboration lays groundwork for an end-to-end operational alignment with Union Pacific Railroad, creating a scalable model across a transcontinental network.

4. Doraville Terminal Enhancements

Located 15 miles from downtown Atlanta near interstates 285 and 85, the Doraville corridor will see infrastructure upgrades, expanded yard capacity, and improved interchange fluidity to support new industrial and warehouse development.
