Northwest Biotherapeutics signs MOU with Saudi drugmaker SPIMACO to bring DCVax-L to Saudi Arabia

Northwest Biotherapeutics signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Saudi drugmaker SPIMACO to pursue approval and commercialization of DCVax-L for glioblastoma in Saudi Arabia.
SPIMACO would lead engagement with the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, as well as marketing, sales and distribution under a revenue-sharing model. Northwest Biotherapeutics would supply the product and regulatory materials.
The parties plan to negotiate a license and technology transfer to enable localized DCVax-L manufacturing in Saudi Arabia under Vision 2030.
The collaboration could expand to additional DCVax-L indications or other territories, including Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
