Nova Minerals receives 500 tons of equipment for Alaska antimony processing plant funded by US$ 43.4 million Defense Production Act award

Nova Minerals reported about 500 tons of processing equipment arrived at Port MacKenzie, Alaska for its planned antimony processing and refining facility.
The shipment left Seattle on Aug. 26 and reached Cook Inlet on Sept. 6, with the company describing the delivery as ahead of schedule.
Defense Production Act funding and project plans
The project is backed by a US$ 43.4 million Defense Production Act Title III award from the Department of War to help build a domestic antimony supply chain.
The facility is targeted to begin initial production of antimony trisulfide, with 2027 production guidance. Nova said the modular design is intended to allow expansion into refined products such as antimony metal or antimony trioxide.
