Nvidia Announces Fall ‘Super’ PC Chip Launch and SK Group Partnership
NVDA•Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said at a Taipei conference that the company will launch a “super” PC chip this fall to directly compete with Intel and AMD. Nvidia and SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won are set to unveil a cooperation plan on Monday, expanding collaboration with SK Hynix.
1. Fall Launch of ‘Super’ PC Chip
At a Taipei conference, Jensen Huang described a new “super” PC chip due this fall, designed to outperform rival offerings from Intel and AMD. He emphasized the chip’s advanced AI capabilities and strategic importance in strengthening Nvidia’s presence in high-performance personal computing.
2. Nvidia-SK Group Cooperation Plan
Nvidia and SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won will jointly announce a cooperation plan on Monday aimed at deepening ties with SK Hynix. The agreement is expected to cover semiconductor research, supply chain integration and joint development of next-generation AI infrastructure components.
