Ocean Capital Acquisition names Richard Betts audit committee chair after Elliott Cheng exit

- Ocean Capital Acquisition named Wei-Chieh Hao an independent director on Aug. 16, and he will chair the nominating and compensation committees.
- Hao is an executive director and responsible officer at Meyer Capital Group since 2017, with prior roles at Innovest Asset Management.
- Richard T. Betts joined as an independent director on Aug. 18 and is taking over as audit committee chair.
- Betts founded sustainability advisory firm RZB in 2024 and previously held senior sustainability roles at Deloitte, ERM, EY and KPMG.
- Hin Wing (Simon) Wong resigned as a director on Aug. 14, and Hiu Man (Elliott) Cheng resigned as a director and committee chair on Aug. 14.
