OpenTable data show 65% of Canadians view dining out as essential for Mother’s Day and 37% plan an out-of-home meal this year. Parties of six or more bookings rose 29% year-over-year, 23% of moms considered dining solo and 49% see Mother’s Day as a self-care opportunity.
2. Top 100 Brunch and Lunch Venues
The Top 100 Brunch and Lunch Venues list for 2026 was compiled by analyzing over one million diner reviews alongside ratings, reservation volumes, a minimum threshold of brunch reviews and Sunday lunch availability to identify Canada’s most in-demand mid-day restaurants.
3. Regional Distribution
The list features 54 restaurants in Ontario, 17 in British Columbia, 16 in Alberta and seven in Quebec, with additional venues recognized across Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Atlantic Canada to reflect regional dining preferences.
