Oracle’s $500B Stargate Venture Scales to 7GW and Debuts AI Hotel Cloud Assistant

1. Oracle Partners on $500B Stargate AI Infrastructure Venture
Oracle has joined OpenAI and SoftBank in the $500 billion Stargate venture, planning nearly 7 gigawatts of AI compute capacity across Texas, Michigan and Wisconsin. While participants pledged to cover all new electricity and grid infrastructure costs, the majority of these sites won’t be operational until after 2027 due to utility‐scale power plant approval and construction timelines.
2. Oracle Launches OPERA Cloud Assistant for Hotel Operations
Oracle unveiled OPERA Cloud Assistant, an AI suite that automates room assignments, generates standardized rate descriptions and provides real‐time multilingual guidance within existing OPERA Cloud workflows at no additional cost. Over 2,100 Wyndham Hotels & Resorts properties running OPERA Cloud can now leverage these features to boost staff productivity, standardize global operations and strengthen revenue management across 230 countries.
