Orange Belgium, Nokia partner to test 50G-PON fiber network in Belgium
NOK•Orange Belgium and Nokia demonstrated 50G-PON fiber at 50 Gbit/s in a Belgian laboratory trial and deployed Nokia’s Altiplano Network Controller to automate fixed-network operations.
1. Fiber network trial
The companies said the trial used real-time data analytics to automate fixed-network operations. The project targets faster service activation, proactive fault detection and improved reliability and customer experience for consumer and business broadband.
