Origin Bancorp Q2 FY26 net income rises 22.2% to $33.8 million; diluted EPS climbs to $1.09

Quarterly profit and EPS rise
Origin Bancorp posted net income of $33.8 million for Q2 2026, up 22.2% from Q1. Diluted EPS rose to $1.09 from $0.89.
Balance sheet and capital returns
Loans held for investment increased 2.7% to $8.07 billion; deposits edged down 0.6% to $8.7 billion.
The company repurchased 217,034 shares at an average $46.60. The board also lifted the quarterly dividend to $0.25 from $0.15.
Net interest income and margin improve
Net interest income climbed 5.7% to $92.2 million; fully tax-equivalent net interest margin widened 21 basis points to 3.92%.
