Otis won a contract to supply 251 elevators and escalators for the Tianjin 117 Tower modernization and next development phase.
The project covers refurbishment of existing units, installation of new equipment, and service support for operations across the nearly 600-meter supertall.
Tianjin 117 Tower is the tallest building under construction in China, and is slated to become the country’s third-tallest on completion.
The scope includes SkyRise high-rise systems, Gen3 elevators, Link and Public escalators, Panorama 3 management, and Otis ONE IoT monitoring.
