The $140m influx boosts Pacira’s liquidity, allowing the company to redeploy capital toward its non-opioid analgesic portfolio and R&D pipeline. Management expects enhanced financial flexibility and streamlined operations following the divestiture.
3. Zimmer Biomet Commercialization
Zimmer Biomet will integrate iovera into its pain management offerings, leveraging its established sales channels and global footprint to drive adoption. The device is expected to complement Zimmer Biomet’s orthopedic portfolio and support cross-selling opportunities.
