Palo Alto Networks Unveils Four Partnerships to Secure Multi-Terabit 5G AI Factories

PANWPANW

Palo Alto Networks launched four partnerships at Mobile World Congress to secure sovereign AI Factory infrastructures across multi-terabit 5G and IoT networks. Collaborations with Nokia, U Mobile, Aeris and Celerway bring data center security for European AI 'Gigafactories', network-embedded SECaaS, unified IoT fleet visibility and VM-Series edge protection.

1. Ecosystem Expansion at Mobile World Congress

At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Palo Alto Networks introduced an expanded security ecosystem tailored for emerging AI Factory infrastructures. The initiative integrates AI-driven security services from data centers through 5G and IoT networks to support multi-terabit throughput without compromising performance.

2. Nokia Partnership for Sovereign AI Gigafactories

By combining Palo Alto Networks’ AI-powered security platforms with Nokia’s data center infrastructure, the collaboration aims to enable European 'Gigafactories' with validated architectures that ensure data sovereignty and facilitate large-scale AI training workloads.

3. U Mobile SECaaS Integration

Palo Alto Networks signed a memorandum with U Mobile to embed Next-Generation Firewalls into Malaysia’s 4G and 5G infrastructure, offering network-embedded Security-as-a-Service that delivers real-time threat prevention for consumer and business customers.

4. Aeris and Celerway Edge Security Solutions

The Aeris partnership integrates IoT Watchtower with Prisma SASE 5G to enforce zero-trust policies and data loss prevention across global device fleets, while the Celerway integration extends VM-Series firewalls to distributed 5G edge devices for secure connectivity in remote and high-mobility environments.
