Parsons targets aviation modernization execution with integrated program delivery strategy
PSN•Parsons outlined an Integrated Program Delivery approach to manage aviation modernization as a connected program, from strategy through operations, targeting interface risks and coordinating schedules, risks, requirements and handoffs.
1. Integrated delivery approach
Parsons said its approach is designed to coordinate aviation modernization across infrastructure, technology, commissioning, operational readiness, training, permitting, cybersecurity and systems integration. A consolidated governance framework would bring schedules, risks, requirements and handoffs into one decision framework to protect airport operations during activation.
2. Planned deployment
The model aims to shift decisions earlier, preserve flexibility as programs change and reduce owner oversight burdens. Parsons expects to deploy it through multiple engagement structures spanning planning, handover, operational readiness and lifecycle performance.
