Perth Mint Physical Gold ETF Endures Worst Daily Drop Since 1983, Banks Target $6,300/Oz
Spot gold tumbled 9.8% to under $4,700 an ounce on Jan 30, its steepest daily drop since 1983, dragging AAAU’s NAV down despite a 66% annual gain. JPMorgan now projects gold at $6,300 per ounce by end-2026, and Deutsche Bank holds a $6,000 target for this year.
