Picard Medical Hosts March 1 Boston Hands-On Training for Total Artificial Heart
Picard Medical’s SynCardia will host a hands-on training session on March 1 in Boston at the THT 2026 conference featuring case-based instruction on the Companion 2 Driver, Freedom Portable Driver and Total Artificial Heart. This follows a Training Village in Houston and aims to boost clinician adoption and global expansion.
1. Hands-On Training Day at THT 2026
Picard Medical’s SynCardia unit will participate in the inaugural Hands-On Training Day at the Technology and Heart Failure Therapeutics 2026 conference in Boston on March 1, offering clinicians direct, case-based education on advanced mechanical circulatory support.
2. Interactive Device Education
The session will rotate small groups through interactive stations where senior clinical specialists will guide participants in real-world scenarios using the Companion 2 Driver, Freedom Portable Driver and the SynCardia Total Artificial Heart.
3. Expansion and Adoption Strategy
Following its SynCardia Training Village in Houston earlier this week, Picard Medical aims to strengthen multidisciplinary partnerships and expand global awareness of its total artificial heart technology to drive clinician adoption.
4. Market Leadership and Clinical Footprint
SynCardia’s Total Artificial Heart is the only FDA- and Health Canada-approved system, with over 2,100 implants across 27 countries, underpinning Picard’s push for broader usage in advanced heart failure centers.
