1. Pinterest Expands Into Shoppable Connected TV
Pinterest has partnered with Roku to launch “Bring My Pinterest to Life,” a shoppable TV series set to premiere in March. Hosted by creators Drew Michael Scott, Caroline Vazzana and Tay BeepBoop Nakamoto, each episode transforms user-curated Pinterest boards into real-world spaces and products. Viewers can click through directly from the Roku interface to Pinterest boards for design inspiration or visit brand partner sites to purchase items featured on screen. This initiative follows Pinterest’s recent acquisition of CTV performance advertising platform tvScientific, positioning the company to offer advertisers outcome-based metrics on connected TV campaigns and integrate search, social and CTV in a unified performance solution.
2. Institutional Investors Increase Stakes in Pinterest
During the third quarter, Donoghue Forlines LLC acquired 61,534 Pinterest shares for approximately $1.98 million, marking a new position in the company.
