Polaris is providing $350,000 matched by the Foundation for America’s Public Lands to fund seven off-highway vehicle trail projects across four states, totaling $700,000. Grants will fund signage, trail maintenance and safety improvements at iconic BLM recreation areas including Moon Rocks, Cricket Mountains and Black Canyon Corridor.
Polaris and the Foundation for America’s Public Lands have formed a new partnership to support off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation access, safety and rider experience on Bureau of Land Management lands. The collaboration brings together Polaris’s industry leadership and the Foundation’s matching capacity to drive private investment into public lands projects.
Polaris has donated $350,000, which the Foundation will match dollar-for-dollar, creating a $700,000 grant pool. This first round of awards supports seven projects in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Montana aimed at improving signage, trail repairs, user amenities and safety measures in high-use OHV areas.
Grant recipients include Moon Rocks in Nevada for portal signs and traffic barriers; Cricket Mountains in Utah for a full signage overhaul; Black Canyon Corridor in Arizona for 1,400 waypoints; plus four additional sites covering fencing, parking upgrades, restrooms and ADA trails to enhance accessibility and visitor experience.
