Precision BioSciences dosed the first patient in August in its Phase 1/2 FUNCTION-DMD trial of PBGENE-DMD for Duchenne muscular dystrophy.The program aims to permanently edit the dystrophin gene to enable production of near full-length dystrophin, targeting up to 60% of patients.The trial is enrolling ambulatory boys ages 2-7 with mutations between exons 45-55 across multiple U.S. sites.Results have not been presented; initial safety data are expected by year-end 2026.•
