Proofpoint joins Microsoft cloud email security ecosystem
MSFT•Proofpoint is joining Microsoft's Defender for Office 365 Integrated Cloud Email Security ecosystem, letting Microsoft 365 customers add its detection capabilities and view alerts in the Defender portal. The partnership builds on protection already provided to more than 1.8 million Microsoft customers worldwide.
1. Security integration
The integration lets Microsoft 365 customers add Proofpoint Core Email Protection API detection capabilities within their existing Microsoft security environment. Security teams can view detections directly in the Microsoft Defender portal to streamline investigations and threat response.
