PureCycle Rayong Plant Secures FastPass Approval for 2026–28 Permitting
PCT•PureCycle’s Thailand subsidiary received a Thailand FastPass certificate valid May 6, 2026–December 31, 2028, for its planned polypropylene recycling facility in Rayong, securing accelerated permitting across approval processes. The program requires at least 20% of the total investment to be deployed within six months to maintain fast-track status.
1. FastPass Admission and Benefits
PureCycle’s Thailand unit gained entry to the Board of Investment’s FastPass program, securing facilitated access to approval and permitting processes for its planned polypropylene recycling facility through December 31, 2028. Under Project No. E682982, governmental agencies will coordinate to compress timelines between investment commitment and operational launch.
2. Rayong Facility Design and Investment Requirements
The Rayong plant, sited within IRPC’s eco-industrial zone, will employ PureCycle’s patented dissolution technology to recycle #5 plastic waste. To maintain fast-track status, the project must deploy at least 20% of the total stated investment within six months of certificate issuance.
3. Strategic Growth Roadmap
This accelerated framework supports PureCycle’s target of installing one billion pounds of recycling capacity by 2030, leveraging Thailand’s abundant feedstock supply and Southeast Asian demand. The development underscores the company’s strategy to expand advanced polypropylene recycling facilities across key global markets.
