TeraWulf acquired the Muskie Data Campus, a 1 GW AI and HPC site spanning 285 acres within EastPark Industrial Park in Kentucky, marking the company’s second data center in the state.
2. Capacity and Timeline
The campus is designed to support 500 MW of power by the second half of 2028 and an additional 500 MW by the second half of 2030, reaching a total capacity of 1 GW for hyperscale AI workloads.
3. Infrastructure Support
Kentucky Power is building a dedicated 345-kilovolt substation tied into a 765-kilovolt transmission network, while the site’s zoning, permitting, and minimal site work requirements are expected to accelerate development compared with peers.
