Qualcomm's licensing business accounted for roughly 15% of its total revenue in the June quarter. The company said in July that revenue from Apple products would decline faster than expected and that it was banking on data center growth to offset lost Apple revenue in 2027. The current licensing agreement, signed in 2019, runs through March 31, 2027, with an option to extend it by two years.
