Rein Therapeutics Activates UK Site, Hits 16 Enrollments in Phase 2 RENEW
RNTX•Rein Therapeutics has enrolled 16 patients to date in its Phase 2 RENEW trial of inhaled peptide LTI-03 for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The company has activated trial sites in the US, Australia and UK, randomizing its first UK patient, with two more countries slated for enrollment in coming months.
1. Phase 2 RENEW Trial Expansion
Rein Therapeutics has expanded its Phase 2 RENEW clinical study of inhaled peptide LTI-03 into the United Kingdom, randomizing the first UK patient and marking the third country in the ongoing trial alongside the United States and Australia.
2. Enrollment Status
To date, 16 patients have been enrolled in the RENEW trial, which aims to enroll approximately 120 idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patients randomized to two dose levels or placebo to assess safety, tolerability and forced vital capacity changes.
3. Planned Geographic Growth
The company plans to activate clinical sites in two additional countries over the coming months, further broadening its global trial footprint and supporting accelerated patient recruitment across multiple regions.

LTI-03 is a first-in-class inhaled peptide therapy derived from Caveolin-1 biology, designed to inhibit lung scarring while preserving alveolar progenitor cells for tissue repair, offering a dual-acting approach in fibrotic lung disease.
