Replimune Q2 loss narrows as expenses fall

1. Loss narrows
Replimune reported a narrower net loss for its fiscal second quarter than a year earlier, citing lower research and development and selling, general and administrative expenses. The declines were mainly due to lower personnel and direct research costs. Loss per share was $0.54.
2. Launch and trials
The company said early uptake of TUDRIQEV, its treatment for advanced melanoma, included prescriptions at more than 15 institutions and rapid formulary adoption. Its IGNYTE-3 confirmatory Phase 3 trial for TUDRIQEV remains on track and is enrolling, while its REVEAL Phase 2/3 trial of RP2 in metastatic uveal melanoma is actively enrolling.
3. Cash outlook
Replimune expects its existing cash to fund operations for more than twelve months from the issuance of its financial statements.
