Robinhood’s WonderFi Acquisition Hearing Rescheduled to April 22 for AGM Extension

HOODHOOD

Robinhood’s acquisition target WonderFi has rescheduled its Supreme Court hearing to April 22, 2026, to seek an extension of its AGM deadline to July 2, 2026, under its arrangement plan enabling Robinhood’s full share acquisition. The companies are progressing post-closing integration and still project the transaction to close in H1 2026.

1. Hearing Rescheduled

WonderFi filed an application with the Supreme Court of British Columbia to extend its AGM deadline from April to July 2, 2026. Due to court scheduling constraints, the hearing originally set for April 13 has been moved to April 22 at 9:45 a.m. PT in Vancouver.

2. Acquisition Timeline and Integration

Under the amended plan of arrangement, Robinhood will acquire all outstanding WonderFi shares. Both companies continue pre-closing integration efforts, aiming to deploy Robinhood’s proprietary technology in Canada and complete the transaction in the first half of 2026, subject to remaining conditions.
