Safe Pro Expands Airfield Operations with Real-Time Drone Mine Detection at Army Exercise
SPAI•Safe Pro Group Inc. will demonstrate its AI-powered threat detection at a U.S. Army airfield exercise in late June 2026, integrating real-time drone-based mine detection into the Army’s ATAK platform. It extends SPOTD-enabled NODE edge compute beyond battlefield mine detection, building on three years of use in Ukraine.

Safe Pro Group Inc. will provide operational support for soldiers during a U.S. Army airfield exercise in late June 2026, showcasing its AI-powered threat detection integrated into the Army’s Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) platform.
2. Expansion into Airfield Operations
This deployment marks the first use of its SPOTD-enabled NODE edge compute system for rapid assessment of runways and landing zones, extending applications beyond landmine and UXO surveys.
3. Platform Capabilities
The NODE system processes drone imagery on the edge to detect over 150 types of explosive threats in real time, generating orthomosaics, 3D terrain models and actionable intelligence without relying on connectivity.
4. Growing Army Engagement
Building on three years of battlefield deployments in Ukraine, Safe Pro has been invited to multiple U.S. Army-funded technology exercises throughout Q3 2026, highlighting accelerating demand for its AI solutions.
