Sanara MedTech holds special shareholder meeting
SMTI•Sanara MedTech shareholders adopted the proposed merger agreement with MiMedx at a special meeting on Sept. 30, 2026. The merger has not closed; the Hart-Scott-Rodino review period is expected to expire on Oct. 15, 2026.
1. Merger vote
Shareholders adopted the merger agreement, clearing the vote required for the transaction to proceed toward closing. A separate proposal to adjourn the meeting to solicit additional proxies was not put to a vote. The merger has not yet closed, and the companies are waiting for the Hart-Scott-Rodino review period to expire on Oct. 15, 2026.
