Scotiabank FY26 Q3 net income rises 17% to C$ 2.95 billion; revenue increases 11% to C$ 10.54 billion

- Bank of Nova Scotia posted IFRS net income of CAD 2.95 billion in Q3 ended July 31, up 17% year over year.
- Diluted EPS climbed to CAD 2.27 from CAD 1.84; return on equity widened 1.9 percentage points to 14.1%.
- Total revenue rose to CAD 10.54 billion from CAD 9.49 billion; net interest income increased to CAD 5.87 billion from CAD 5.49 billion.
- Canadian banking profit rose 12% to CAD 1.07 billion; global banking and markets profit jumped 37% to CAD 647 million.
- CEO Scott Thomson called it a record quarter; CET1 ratio was 13.1% after repurchasing 8,600,000 shares.
