Exclusive U.S. broadcast rights secured for 2027 tournament
The E.W. Scripps Company signed an exclusive U.S. domestic broadcast rights deal for the 2027 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Cup.
Agreement with Volleyball World, the tournament organizing committee covers all 64 matches on ION and other Scripps Sports platforms in English and Spanish.
Horizon Sports & Experiences brokered the deal and will work with ION and FIVB on U.S. advertising and sponsorship sales packages.
The tournament runs August-September 2027 in the U.S. and Canada with 32 national teams, and serves as a Los Angeles 2028 Olympic qualifier.
