1. Third Quarter Fiscal 2026 Financial Results
For the quarter ended May 31, 2026, total revenue reached $21.9 million, a 7% increase over prior year, with software revenue stable at $12.6 million (58% of total) and services revenue jumping 20% to $9.3 million (42%). Gross profit rose to $15.1 million with a 69% margin, and the company swung to net income of $3.6 million with diluted EPS of $0.18, versus a net loss and $3.35 loss per share in Q3 2025. Adjusted EBITDA climbed to $7.9 million (36% of revenue), up from $7.4 million the prior year.
2. Acquisition Agreement with Altaris
On June 15, 2026, Simulations Plus entered a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by affiliates of Altaris, LLC. The transaction, expected to close in Q4 2026, is intended to bolster the company’s scientific leadership and expand its AI-enabled drug development solutions under Altaris’s ownership.
