SiriusPoint Q2 2026 net income rises 15.9% to USD 69 million; return on equity drops 0.7 percentage points to 12%

SiriusPoint posted Q2 net income available to common shareholders of USD 69 million, or USD 0.58 per diluted share.
Return on equity was 12.0%, with a core combined ratio of 91.4%.
Core gross written premium rose 6%, with Insurance & Services up 15% while Reinsurance fell 9%.
Book value per diluted common share excluding AOCI climbed 3% from March 31, 2026 to USD 19.48; BSCR estimate was 239%.
CEO Scott Egan cited a “diverse and low-volatility portfolio” and said market conditions are becoming more challenging.
