Sitka Resources launches 60,000m drilling program, hole DDRCRG-25-010 hits 235.9m at 1.11 g/t
Sitka Resources has launched a 60,000m diamond drilling campaign at its RC Gold project in Yukon, doubling total meters drilled with 30,000m at Rhosgobel, where hole DDRCRG-25-010 hit 235.9m at 1.11 g/t Au including 40m at 2.01 g/t. An initial resource estimate for Rhosgobel is expected in Q1 2026.
1. Drilling Program Overview
Sitka Resources has commenced a fully funded 60,000 metre diamond drilling program at its RC Gold project in Yukon, doubling total metres drilled to date. The program allocates 30,000m to Rhosgobel, 15,000m to the Blackjack-Saddle-Eiger corridor, and 10,000m to the Pukelman-Contact zone.
2. Rhosgobel Intersections
Initial drilling at Rhosgobel comprises 43 holes over a 1.1 kilometre strike, yielding significant gold mineralization from surface. Hole DDRCRG-25-010 returned 235.9m at 1.11 g/t Au with 40m at 2.01 g/t, and tungsten shows potential as an economic by-product.
3. Resource Estimate and Next Steps
An initial Mineral Resource Estimate for Rhosgobel is scheduled for Q1 2026, based on roughly 13,000m of completed drilling. Additional drilling will follow up high-grade zones at Blackjack and Eiger and expand the near-surface gold zone at Saddle.
