SoftBank and OpenAI Commit $1 Billion for 1.2GW Texas AI Data Center
SoftBank Group and OpenAI will jointly invest $1 billion in SB Energy to build a 1.2 gigawatt AI data center site in Milam County, Texas under the Stargate initiative. SB Energy, backed by SoftBank and Ares Management, will develop initial multi-gigawatt campuses with facilities entering service this year.
