SoundHound AI deployed its voice and real-time generative AI in the Kia Sorento in India, marking the global debut of Kia’s AI Assistant with real-time generative AI in the Sorento lineup.

1. Sorento integration

The “Hey Kia” assistant enables multi-turn conversational control for in-cabin functions, vehicle questions and answers, navigation, news and localized search. The rollout extends SoundHound’s OASYS platform presence in international markets, with broader adoption across Kia’s flagship vehicles as a target.
