LUV•Southwest Airlines has launched an interline partnership with Singapore Airlines, enabling single-ticket journeys between SIA’s 130 destinations in 35 countries and nearly 120 Southwest airports via LAX, SEA and SFO. This eighth such deal expands Southwest’s international reach and boost passenger volumes, ancillary ticket revenues and load factors.
Southwest Airlines has entered an interline partnership with Singapore Airlines, allowing customers to purchase a single ticket for seamless travel between SIA’s global network and Southwest’s domestic routes. The collaboration covers connections at Los Angeles, Seattle/Tacoma and San Francisco, streamlining transfers for international passengers.
Singapore Airlines’ group serves over 130 destinations in 35 countries, while Southwest operates nearly 120 airports across the U.S. Earlier this year, Southwest also began service at five new airports—St. Thomas, Sint Maarten, Santa Rosa/Sonoma County, Knoxville and Anchorage—further broadening its footprint.
Southwest introduced assigned seating, optional Extra Legroom and enhanced boarding in 2026, with premium snacks and drinks offered to Extra Legroom customers on longer flights. These enhancements aim to elevate customer experience and capture higher ancillary revenue.
As Southwest’s eighth international tie-up, the partnership is expected to drive incremental passenger volumes and improve load factors. Greater connectivity and ancillary offerings could contribute to stronger ticket and non-ticket revenue growth.
