SS Innovations demonstrates telesurgery at EACTS meeting in Barcelona
SSII•SS Innovations demonstrated telesurgery at meetings in Barcelona and New Delhi in October 2026. Its SSi Mantra system had been used in 205 telesurgeries as of October 23, 2026.
1. Telesurgery demonstrations
CEO Sudhir Srivastava performed cardiac telesurgery from Barcelona on a patient approximately 7,500 miles away in Bengaluru, using SSi Mantra and SSi MantrAsana. At the inaugural SRS India Conference in New Delhi, four surgeons completed four separate robotic-assisted telesurgeries during live demonstrations.
2. System usage
As of October 23, 2026, the SSi Mantra system had been used in 205 telesurgeries, including cardiac procedures.
